Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) is one of France’s leading public research universities, located in Grenoble, a vibrant city nestled in the French Alps. Established in its current form in 2016, UGA brings together a rich history of higher education institutions dating back to 1339, creating a modern and multidisciplinary university that excels in both education and research.
The Centre Universitaire d’Études Françaises (CUEF), part of Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA), is a renowned institution dedicated to teaching the French language and culture to international students. Located in the heart of Grenoble, CUEF offers a variety of French language programs designed for non-native speakers, ranging from beginners to advanced levels.
In the fall semester of 2023, a total of 18 students from the 2020 and 2021 cohorts, with five from the 2020 cohort and 13 from the 2021 cohort, proceeded to the French Language Center (CUEF) at Université Grenoble Alpes in France for a semester or an academic year of study, accounting for 68% of the students in the 2021 cohort.
In the fall semester of 2024, a sum of 17 students from the 2022 cohort journeyed to the French Language Center (CUEF) at Université Grenoble Alpes in France for a semester of study, constituting 62% of the student population within their cohort.
